​Limited Registration Program
Overseas Applicants
Overseas qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply for our Limited Registration Program. Through this program we offer:
- Assignment to an AHPRA registered clinician within their discipline who will oversee them dependent on level of supervision requirement
- VISA sponsorship is supported (if required)
- Initial assistance with gaining registration involving the standards listed by AHPRA

Our Limited Registered Program
This program is structured to ensure limited health practitioners have the necessary support they require. Limited health practitioners may not have practiced in Australia for a period time and subsequently their AHPRA certification may have become invalid, or they may be overseas applicants who have held professional registration with an approved overseas board in their home country.
The program can includes:
- A buddy shift, complete with an onsite induction and ongoing support
- Additional support by a Team Leader/Senior Clinician is available and tailored to an individual's needs
- The opportunity to complete a shadow shift, to experience clinical work in a residential or community setting, before coming on board with Vivir
- Standardised professional development program delivered through iLearn (online learning platform) with discussions and follow-ups by a Team Leader/Senior Clinician after each module is completed
- Options to work either in residential care or the community
Working with Vivir Healthcare provides you with the opportunity to build your foundation level aged care clinical skills that will enable you to develop across home care, residential care and disability settings.
